Laura and Meggie are absolutely here for the change of pace as this book starts off with a complete reset of the entire series, thanks to Elena and the deal she made with the Guardians at the end of book 7. So, all is well in Fell's Church, or is it? Only time will tell as the gang settles into this new timeline and something sinister once again starts lurking in the shadows.
